Moodle: Unwanted Sections

If you do not intend to use particular Moodle courses, they can be removed from your listing by designating those courses as unwanted.

Note: Instructors should NOT use this feature to hide or remove courses from the My Courses page. Doing so will result in a loss of student and course data. Instead, please visit GORK 20167: Moodle: Homepage, Sidebar, and My Courses Page for instructions on how to manage the visibility of courses displayed on the My Courses page.

Removing Unwanted Courses/Sections:

  1. Log on to Moodle.

  2. Click on Unwanted sections in the Workday Preferences block in the blocks drawer in the right side bar menu of the front page of Moodle.
  3. Select the term.

  4. Click the check box for the course section to mark it as unwanted.

    • Click the Save Preferences button.
