Moodle: Blocks: CPS: Unwanted Courses

If you do not intend to use particular Moodle courses, they can be removed from your listing on your My Home page by designating those courses as unwanted.

Note: Instructors should NOT use this feature to hide or remove courses from the My Courses page. Doing so will result in a loss of student and course data. Instead, please visit GROK 19861: Make a Course Available to Students for instructions on how to manage the visibility of courses displayed on the My Courses page.

If you are a student, there is not a way to hide or remove courses from your Moodle. However, you can favorite the courses you are currently taking to move the old ones to the bottom; see: Moodle: Organize Courses

To Remove Unwanted Courses:

  1. Log on to Moodle.
  2. Click the Unwanted link, located in the Course Preferences block at the bottom of the front page of Moodle.
